## Description

Shawn Metz is a speaker and recovery advocate whose work shares the realities of addiction and the possibility of lasting change. In recovery since July 5, 2011, he draws on his own experience to encourage people to reconsider their choices, seek a new direction, and believe that reinvention is possible. His mission is to inspire, redirect thinking, reroute choices, and save lives.

Through hundreds of presentations at various facilities and participation in panels, Shawn speaks to audiences with an authentic, heartfelt account of his life. His message is intended for people at different stages, from teens considering alcohol or drugs for the first time to those seeking to turn their lives around. The site presents No Enemy Within as the path that helped Shawn get clean and stay clean, and describes the project as a reflection on a decade of long-term recovery. It also features information about Shawn, his services, and a shop, with No Enemy Within noted as coming soon.
