## Description

Shay Chenette is an artist whose work spans fine art, murals, and performance art. Her practice draws on memory, colour, stories, and music, transforming personal experiences into expressive visual work. The Art of Wood collection brings these themes to reclaimed wood, where painted figures explore the meeting of love and legacy. Works from the collection, including the Looku painting, are available as original artworks and museum-quality prints.

Through her studio, Chenette offers art for collectors and clients, with commissions available worldwide. Her mural work can bring a distinctive atmosphere to homes and other spaces, while her performance art includes body art created for editorial productions and sets. The studio shop features originals and prints, and visitors can explore the artist’s work and background, press coverage, and studio materials. Chenette also shares news about new releases, live events, and print drops through a studio letter. Whether creating a personal commission or an artwork for a collection, her work is grounded in attentive listening and a thoughtful response to each story.
