## Description

Sheephug is a Japanese care-products brand focused on sheepskin supports designed to help prevent pressure sores, also known as bedsores. The brand was created by a practicing care manager in response to needs voiced in nursing and welfare settings, with the aim of making sheepskin products more accessible and affordable. Its products use the natural resilience, moisture absorption and friction-reducing qualities of wool to support the body, distribute pressure and help limit dampness. The range described includes full-body mats for beds and futons, seat cushions suitable for prolonged sitting or wheelchair use, and targeted pads for areas such as the heels, elbows and head. Options include different thicknesses and designs with or without openings, allowing users to choose according to their intended use. The materials are also described as breathable and insulating, helping maintain comfort across seasons, and the products can be cared for at home. The site states that Sheephug products are not currently available for sale, so prospective customers should check with the brand for current availability.
