## Description

SheepIt Render Farm is a free, community-powered distributed rendering service for Blender, operating since 2007. It enables users to submit and track rendering projects through a web browser, without needing to install Blender to contribute computing power. By connecting participants’ machines, SheepIt helps process animation and image frames collaboratively, making rendering resources available without subscriptions or credit-card requirements.

The service supports Blender’s Cycles, Eevee, and Workbench render engines and works to support new Blender releases within days. Its website provides project and rendering activity information, including active projects, connected clients, frames being processed, and estimated completion times. Users can join the community by contributing their hardware, submit projects for rendering, or participate in teams and the forum. SheepIt also offers a store featuring branded goods and invites users to donate to help sustain the service. With hundreds of machines contributing at a time and millions of frames rendered historically, SheepIt brings Blender users together to share computing resources and complete rendering projects.
