## Description

Shelford Festival and Feast is a community-led annual event in Great Shelford, bringing residents and visitors together for a week of entertainment, food and celebration. Rooted in a village tradition dating back to the Middle Ages, the festival combines music, comedy, food and drink in a lively programme designed to help people enjoy time together and support local good causes. The 2027 festival is scheduled for 3–10 July, with tickets available through the event’s website. The organisation also shares information about its events, past festival highlights, sponsors, volunteering opportunities and how to get to the village. Its grant programme provides another way to support the local community, although applications for the current round are closed. Shelford Festival and Feast is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, registered as CIO 1190275. The festival reports that it has raised more than £400,000 for local good causes to date, reflecting its long-standing commitment to community life and charitable fundraising.
