## Description

SherpasSolutions is the independent professional practice and public brand of SJ Barakony, who has been self-employed since 2011. Based in Ohio and working remotely, Barakony describes the practice as a practitioner’s studio focused on work, education, startups, and questions emerging before markets have clear answers. It is a solo practice, not a staffed firm or nonprofit, bringing several related services and ventures together under one name.

SherpasSolutions offers B2B masterminds and cohorts, project-based consulting, fractional CCO and CPO work, one-to-one mentoring for founders and students, and a Family Advisory Service for households. Barakony also contributes to initiatives in ethical AI education, facilitates panels exploring future challenges and uncertainty, and supports professional communities through mentoring and member-success work.

The brand’s writing explores work, education, and what may come next, with essays published on Substack and through the LinkedIn newsletter Signals from Tomorrow. People interested in working together can book a time or make contact through the website. The practice emphasizes thoughtful collaboration, a long-term perspective, and flexible, asynchronous remote work.
