## Description

Originally a passion project by Andreea Magdalina in London, shesaid.so has grown into one of the largest independent communities in the music business. Our diverse community comprises professionals from a wide range of sectors, including record labels, artist management companies, booking agencies, technology platforms, creative agencies, composers, and artists. With our headquarters in London and LA, we have established 18 global chapters spanning across cities such as NYC, France, Italy, and Mumbai. We encourage decision-makers in the industry to join our network, while also welcoming young aspiring individuals. Our mission is to connect and empower underrepresented communities, striving for a more equitable music industry. At shesaid.so, we value intersectionality and recognize the challenges faced by marginalized groups beyond just gender. We work persistently to provide equal opportunities regardless of race, sexuality, cultural background, faith, or ability. Through curated panel discussions and interactive events, we address significant industry topics and inspire both our hosts and guests. Our showcases highlight talented female artists and their representatives. We challenge the industry's systemic framework with our Alternative Power 100 Music List, and our mentoring program she.grows assists women in advancing their careers. Collaborating with brands, we produce events and campaigns that promote equality, diversity, and inclusion. Currently, we have more than 12,000 members across our expanding 18 local chapters.
