## Description

ShieldCortex is an open-source security platform from Drakon Systems that protects AI agents across the information they store, the actions they take, and the content they encounter. Its Memory Firewall checks writes for prompt injection, hidden instructions, credential leaks, and poisoning, while making stored and recalled information inspectable. Iron Dome evaluates tool calls at runtime, blocking catastrophic actions and routing risky ones for operator approval. The Environment Firewall scrubs fetched web pages and tool output before they reach an agent, and X-Ray scans packages and files for covert payloads.

ShieldCortex supports OpenClaw, Claude Code, Hermes, Codex, LangChain, MCP agents, and other integrations. Users can install it through a Node.js command-line package or Python SDK, scan content locally, and review decisions in an included dashboard with an exportable audit trail. The free, open-source offering includes core protection; Enterprise adds fleet management, large-scale memory synchronization, and team and server SSO. ShieldCortex runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows, with support for Node.js 22.14 or 24 and Python 3.9 or later.
