# Dojo Shodokan Vendée - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `shodokan-kendo.com` ## Description Shodokan Vendée is a Japanese-inspired martial arts dojo in Les Sables-d’Olonne, France, offering a welcoming place to develop physical skills, focus, and self-discipline. Rooted in Japanese traditions, the dojo presents martial arts as a path to personal growth and well-being, with classes for different ages and experience levels. Its main discipline is Kendo, the way of the sword, taught to children, young people, adults, and seniors. Training uses bamboo swords and protective equipment, and emphasizes technique, courtesy, perseverance, and confidence. Iaido, the practice of drawing and handling the sword with controlled, precise movements, is available as an advanced discipline for enrolled Kendo students. The dojo also offers Tai Chi Chuan, a gentle Chinese movement practice focused on balance, breathing, and fluid motion, as well as hosted Qi Gong classes led by an external practitioner. Alongside regular lessons, Shodokan Vendée organizes themed workshops, grading events, and open days. Visitors can request a free introductory session, and enrollment is open throughout the year. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Martial Arts _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575320260339) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/dojoshodokanvendee) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idsPfLVZ-Z/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792921434653) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idsPfLVZ-Z/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792921435078) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alizarin Crimson | #df1b29 | accent | | Madison | #0e3262 | dark | | Mercury | #eaeaea | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
