## Description

Shodokan Musashino is a distinguished dojo located in Musashino City, Tokyo, specializing in Shodokan Aikido, a modern Japanese martial art founded by Kenji Tomiki. Established in 2000 under the Japan Aikido Association, the dojo has been affiliated with the Shodokan Aikido International Network and the East Japan Aikido Kyogi Federation since 2012. Shodokan Aikido is unique in its integration of both kata (formal paired training) and randori (freestyle practice), focusing on striking and joint techniques rather than grappling.

Led by Ryuichi Omori Sensei, a 7th Dan black belt, alongside assistant instructor Kiyoe Omori Sensei, the dojo welcomes practitioners of all levels. Training sessions are held at two convenient locations near Kichijoji Station, providing flexibility for students. Shodokan Musashino fosters a supportive environment and has achieved significant success in various domestic and international tournaments. For those interested in practicing Aikido in Tokyo, Shodokan Musashino offers an open-door policy and is eager to assist with any inquiries.
