## Description

SHOGI-EXTEND is an online collection of tools for playing, studying, and exploring shogi. Its services support casual games, serious practice, teaching, tournament play, and the creation and analysis of game records. Players can use a shared shogi board with chat, configurable handicaps and time limits, or play against a home-built computer opponent. A clock offers common online-play settings, Fischer time controls, and support for Shogi Club 24’s byo-yomi allowance.

For study and training, the site includes a timed move-notation challenge, a shogi strategy mini-dictionary, a database covering the professional apprentice three-dan league from 1956 onward, and a tsume-shogi timer that tracks accuracy and speed and makes it easier to revisit missed problems. Users can also build personal exercise collections and share them with configurable visibility.

Record-handling tools convert among KIF, KI2, SFEN, and BOD formats, normalize unusual records, and convert KENTO or Shogi Quest records to KIF. Other features turn records into MP4 videos, GIFs, images, or ZIP files, with a library for saved videos.
