Shoreditch Town Hall is an established independent cultural and community space that welcomes over 70,000 people through its doors every year. Housed in one of the grandest former civic buildings in the capital, this Grade II listed Town Hall is the largest multi-artform venue in Hackney. With over 48,000 square feet and 70 individual rooms, it offers a diverse range of services and experiences. The venue features 8 main spaces ranging from 40 to 800 capacity, hosting a year-round cultural programme of bold and innovative theatre, music, dance, circus, comedy, and talks. Additionally, Shoreditch Town Hall boasts 200 live event hires annually, making it a bustling hub of creativity. The organization is also dedicated to artist development, supporting 50 artists and commissioning up to 8 new pieces of live performance each year. Collaborations with local partners enable an extensive community and engagement programme. This leading cultural space has been a host to renowned artists and companies, as well as prominent events and commercial shoots. As a registered charity, Shoreditch Town Hall relies solely on earned income to continue its mission.
