## Description

Shower of Blessings Foundation is a Nigerian nonprofit established more than 20 years ago to help underprivileged people access education and healthcare. Guided by equity, compassion, accessibility, and a commitment to a brighter future, the foundation provides financial support to individuals whose needs might otherwise prevent them from pursuing further study or receiving essential medical care.

Its Educational Bursary Program assists children, young people, and young adults enrolled in accredited public educational institutions in Nigeria. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and provide proof of enrollment; continuing beneficiaries may also need to submit academic transcripts. The foundation’s Medical Grant Program supports people with documented medical needs through grants to public health institution pediatric units and by facilitating pro bono surgical consultations and procedures.

The foundation also partners with local institutions to help direct resources to those who need them most. It reports having empowered more than 200 Nigerian students, supported over 100 people with medical needs, partnered with six institutions, and invested more than N100 million in its work.
