With a mission to provide safe, decent, and affordable homes for low-income families and essential home repairs for senior, disabled, and veteran homeowners, Habitat SHR has been making a positive impact since its founding in 1976. The organization has completed over 240 homes, allowing families to achieve their dream of homeownership, and has also provided critical home repairs to more than 40 low-income homeowners through their home repair programs.

Habitat SHR's team of committed professionals works alongside hard-working, low-income families to build or renovate houses for purchase, offering affordable mortgages. By empowering families and addressing the issues of poverty housing, Habitat SHR not only transforms the lives of those in need but also creates a ripple effect of positive change for volunteers, donors, staff, and entire communities.
