Roy Shumaker, an expert welder, saw an opportunity to repair and rebuild ready-mix concrete drums. In 1953, he took a leap of faith and founded Norry Welding Company. This humble beginning eventually led to the expansion of our product line, including chutes, hoppers, water tanks, and other mixer parts.

In 1989, the company changed its name to Shumaker Industries to reflect our family's aspirations and commitment to growth. Today, we continue to serve customers nationwide and have even opened a branch in Greenville, South Carolina, to better cater to the southeastern region.
