## Description

SIAT-AC, or Sistema de Información Ambiental Territorial de la Amazonia Colombiana, is a vital platform managed by the Instituto SINCHI, focused on environmental information crucial for the Amazon rainforest in Colombia. The brand's mission includes offering comprehensive monitoring and analysis tools that address various environmental themes such as forest conservation, land coverage, and socio-environmental conflicts. Among its key offerings are the SIMAAC system, which provides multitemporal datasets for environmental tracking, and the SIMCOBA system, dedicated to land coverage monitoring through advanced remote sensing technologies.

SIAT-AC also features valuable services like Geoportal for geographical data visualization and open data applications, facilitating access to georeferenced information. It plays a critical role in initiatives like MoSCAL, which monitors local forest conservation agreements, and provides insights into fire scars and heat points detected across the region. Through its structured datasets and interactive tools, SIAT-AC empowers users to engage with and understand the dynamic environmental landscape of the Colombian Amazon.
