SIB Amsterdam, also known as the Dutch United Nations Student Association, is an official UN student association recognized by the United Nations. Established in 1947 with the aim of fostering world peace, SIB has evolved into a dynamic student association since 1980. With over 200 members from various fields of study, SIB welcomes both Dutch and international students and young adults aged 18 to 35.

As a member, you'll have access to a wide range of events including weekly drinks, monthly dinner parties, game and movie nights, and up to four international trips per year. SIB also organizes monthly lectures on current global affairs, featuring prominent speakers, academics, and politicians. Unlike other student associations, SIB does not have a hazing process, allowing you to attend events without any obligations.
