# SICB - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `sicb.org` - **Location:** Mclean, Virginia, United States ## Description The Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) is a scientific society dedicated to fostering research, education, public awareness, and understanding of living organisms. Its work spans biological scales, from molecules and cells to ecology and evolution, and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, new research models, and methods that strengthen both science and education. SICB brings together approximately 3,000 members with interests including organismal and population biology, ecology, systematics, and evolutionary biology. The Society supports its community through annual meetings, lectures, student grants and scholarships, awards, career resources, and opportunities to participate in committees and divisions. Its publications and media include the journals Integrative and Comparative Biology and Integrative Organismal Biology, along with blogs, press releases, newsletters, student journalism, videos, and other science content. SICB also shares research news and helps make biological science accessible to wider audiences. Membership services include joining or renewing, access to member resources, and a directory. The Society’s events, programs, and communications connect researchers, students, and educators while advancing integrative and comparative approaches to biology. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Biology _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCMnc7s1CwFY7cmm-qCjOPig) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/SICB_) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/Society-Integrative-Comparative-Biology-4707580) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/SICBmembers) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/sicbmedia) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idsmhhuKu8/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791227937738) - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idsmhhuKu8/w/150/h/143/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791227937633) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tropical Rain Forest | #007d57 | dark | | Goldenrod | #ffcb70 | light | | Emerald | #47c578 | accent | ## Fonts - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
