## Description

Sick Town Roller Derby, also known as the Sick Town Derby Dames, is a skater-owned and operated amateur flat-track roller derby league serving Linn and Benton counties in Oregon. Founded in July 2008, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit gives people in the mid-Willamette Valley an opportunity to take part in roller derby in a welcoming, strengthening, and accepting environment focused on self-improvement. The league invites community members to get involved, whether by skating, learning through classes, attending events, or connecting as fans. Its activities are designed to engage and entertain audiences while empowering participants and building community connections. Sick Town Roller Derby also welcomes support through donations, which it says are tax-deductible, and offers ways for supporters to enjoy events and join its fan community. Based in Corvallis, Oregon, the organization shares updates and photos through its website and Instagram. Sick Town Roller Derby provides a local space for people to experience the sport, develop their skills, and connect with others across the region.
