## Description

SICOT-J is an official, peer-reviewed, open access journal of the Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT). Founded in 2014, the journal publishes research and scholarly articles in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology, serving clinicians, researchers, and other readers interested in these fields. Its content includes original studies, reviews, technical notes, and editorials on topics such as joint replacement, fractures, sports injuries, rehabilitation, and surgical techniques. Readers can browse current and past issues, special issues, forthcoming articles, and featured or frequently read publications. Authors can consult detailed submission instructions, ethical standards, and artificial intelligence policies, and submit papers through the journal’s publishing platform. SICOT-J operates an article processing charge model, including a two-tier system introduced in 2021 that offers SICOT members a discount on publication fees. The journal also provides information on language-editing services, author resources, copyright and licensing, and national agreements in France. Through open access publishing, SICOT-J makes its published research available to a broad international audience.
