## Description

SIERS, the Sociedad Internacional para el Estudio de las Relaciones de Sucesos, is a cultural non-profit association founded in July 1998 in A Coruña, Spain. Its mission is to promote interdisciplinary research on the study of "relations of events" published during the Early Modern period across Spain and Europe. With a focus on fostering academic collaboration, SIERS organizes scientific meetings and triennial colloquia, offering a vital platform for scholars and enthusiasts to engage with historical narratives and research findings.

The organization encourages the collection of bibliographical information related to its theme, facilitating knowledge sharing among its members. Additionally, SIERS disseminates current news and activities, such as their upcoming cycle of conferences titled “Sed de noticias: información y propaganda en la Europa Moderna,” set to take place on February 26-27, 2025, at the University of Valencia. Through these initiatives, SIERS serves as a comprehensive resource and communicative forum for those interested in the cultural and historical dynamics of the Early Modern period.
