## Description

The South Island Formula Ford Club (SIFF) was founded in 1981 and organises championships for Formula Ford racing cars across New Zealand’s South Island. Its focus is affordable and enjoyable single-seater racing for enthusiasts of different ages and experience levels. The championship includes multiple classes to accommodate Formula Ford cars of various ages. It also provides a development pathway for young drivers beginning their motorsport careers, helping them gain experience before progressing to the national Formula Ford championship.

SIFF offers club membership, race information, calendars, entry forms, technical and setup resources, and guidance for people interested in joining or getting started in racing. Its website shares championship points and results, press releases, historical archives, photographs, videos, and information on Formula Ford history and regulations. The club also publishes material from technical evenings and guidance on maintenance, helping competitors build practical knowledge. Through its events, resources, and welcoming community of experienced members, SIFF supports participation and skill development in South Island Formula Ford racing.
