## Description

Sifter is a brand founded by ecommerce entrepreneurs Andrew and Thomas Parkinson, the founders of Peapod and ItemMaster. Their goal is to make healthy eating easy by bridging the gap between consumer health and the grocery cart. Together with registered dietitian nutritionist Judy Seybold and other industry experts, they have developed powerful technology solutions to revolutionize the way we shop for food.

The Sifter team is passionate about innovating for better health and operates with core values of transparency, respect, and accountability. They have created a science-based shopping platform that incorporates evidence-based recommendations from nutrition experts and doctors. Sifter's proprietary algorithms can analyze tens of thousands of product labels in seconds, matching dietary filters against personal preferences to deliver a personalized product subset for each shopper.

Unlike other programs, Sifter filters multiple attributes on the same product, ensuring accuracy and simplicity. Their dietary filters, or SiftTags, are based on recognized resources used in clinical practices, and each SiftTag is developed by registered dietitians. Sifter is trusted by a Medical Advisory Board and partners with credible healthcare organizations to remain at the forefront of evidence-based science and diet trends. With Sifter, you can find the foods that fit your personal, complex diet easily and conveniently.
