Signposts is a brand that aims to help people who are homeless in Luton and Dunstable. Their main goal is to assist clients in achieving their maximum potential to live and grow within the community. They achieve this by promoting best practices and quality support, as well as implementing innovative approaches to problem-solving while acknowledging existing social work practices.

One of their core values is recognizing the dignity of each person they aim to help. Signposts has a rich history, originating in the early 80s when a group of concerned locals joined forces to address the growing challenge of homelessness. With the support of a local housing association, they opened Luton's first designated accommodation for homeless people in 1985.

Since then, Signposts has expanded and now operates thirteen properties, providing 182 bed spaces. They have developed expertise and procedures to effectively support vulnerable homeless individuals and their ongoing mission is to change negative perceptions of homelessness, allowing residents to reach their full potential. At Signposts, they follow a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) approach based on trauma-informed care (TIC) and strengths-based support.
