## Description

Silicon Valley Martial Arts offers martial arts and self-defense training focused on physical, mental, and emotional development. Led by founder and headmaster Wallace Ferreira, the school draws on his experience in boxing, judo, Capoeira, Karate, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Its approach combines techniques from multiple disciplines to help students build practical skills, assess situations, and respond effectively. Classes welcome beginners and experienced practitioners, with programs designed for ages 9 to 65 and tailored to individual fitness levels and goals. Offerings include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for strategy and control; Muay Thai for striking and conditioning; Capoeira for movement, coordination, and body awareness; and Wing Chun for precise, close-range responses. The school also provides personal training and integrative self-defense instruction incorporating elements of boxing, wrestling, Kung Fu, and other styles. Sessions aim to develop strength, agility, reflexes, fitness, and confidence, whether students are training for self-protection, exercise, or competition. Training is available from Los Gatos to Mountain View, including residences and public parks, and prospective students can contact Wallace to discuss programs or schedule a session.
