Description

Simply Neuroscience is an international, student-led nonprofit organization founded in May 2019. They are dedicated to fostering students' interdisciplinary interests in the brain through neuroscience and psychology education, outreach, and awareness. Their aim is to empower youth to engage in brain-related fields by providing free online resources, opportunities, events, mentorship, and more.


Simply Neuroscience offers a diverse array of 25 departmental initiatives, which include the Action Potential Advising Program (APAP), Brain Study Resources, NeuroCareers Resource Databases, Wellness Week Initiative, Podcast, and Meet the Team Series, among others. These initiatives are designed to increase early neuroscience access and connect students with valuable resources. The organization is led by a passionate team of individuals, including Chinmayi Balusu, the Founder & CEO, who is a medical humanities and neuroepidemiology student.


Sasha Tunsiricharoengul serves as the Chief Operating Officer, Veda Dayananda as the Board President, Inchara Athreya as the Board Vice President, Kaushik Patra as the Chief Financial Officer, and April Yu as the Board Secretary. Simply Neuroscience's goal is to pursue the brain and unlock the future, one neuron at a time.
