## Description

The Simulations Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization that helps students understand key social science concepts through hands-on, experiential learning. Its in-person simulations address subjects including economics, political science, and geography, connecting classroom content with the dynamic, interrelated world around students. Programs can be adapted to different grade levels and participant numbers, and delivered in a variety of venues and formats. The Center’s offerings include the World Crisis Congress and New World Business Sim, alongside outreach and community events. Beyond reinforcing social studies curriculum, these experiences give students opportunities to practise skills useful in college and the workplace. Participants can develop strategic planning, collaboration and coordination, problem solving, analytical thinking, negotiation, and public speaking. By combining subject learning with practical participation, The Simulations Center provides an enriching educational resource designed to deepen students’ understanding while strengthening abilities that can support their future success.
