## Description

Stichting Sinterklaas Aarle-Rixtel organizes the annual Sinterklaas celebrations in Aarle-Rixtel, in the municipality of Laarbeek. Founded as a committee in 1989, the organization is now run by a six-member board and more than 50 volunteers. Its activities bring the community together for the saint’s arrival, local visits and festive farewell.

The annual programme includes Sinterklaas’s arrival by steamboat at the passantenhaven, followed by a procession and a free show at the Dreef. Sinterklaas and his helpers also visit local schools, shops and care institutions. The celebrations conclude with a lantern-lit procession to the boat as Sinterklaas departs for Spain.

The organization’s website shares event details, news, frequently asked questions and contact information. It also offers printable Sinterklaas colouring pages and countdown calendars, along with a playlist of festive songs. Local sponsors help keep the event free to attend, and the foundation welcomes new volunteers and sponsors to support its work.
