## Description

Sinterklaas Intocht Den Haag is the organization and event behind The Hague’s annual arrival celebration for Sinterklaas, welcoming the traditional holiday figure and his entourage to the city. The 2026 procession is scheduled for Saturday, 14 November, marking the 79th time Sinterklaas arrives at the harbour in Scheveningen. The event is expected to draw thousands of visitors and families to the busy harbour for a festive welcome.

The celebration continues beyond the harbour programme. Sinterklaas and his entourage are also set to travel through the atmospheric streets of The Hague during a procession known as the rijtoer. The website provides information about both parts of the programme, along with contact details, house rules and links. It also invites visitors to support the local celebration through Vrienden van Sinterklaas, a friends and supporters initiative. Sinterklaas Intocht Den Haag presents a public, community-focused event that brings residents and visitors together to enjoy a longstanding seasonal tradition. The site identifies DB Evenementen in its copyright notice.
