## Description

Stichting Sint Nicolaas Oirschot is a volunteer-led foundation that brings Sinterklaas traditions to the community of Oirschot in the Netherlands. Its activities invite local families and children to share in the excitement of the annual celebrations, with the guiding message that Sinterklaas is something everyone creates together.

The foundation organizes Oirschot’s Sinterklaas arrival, scheduled for 14 November 2026, and stages visits to Sinterklaas’s “work palace” at Theater De Stoelendans. The 2026 performances, marking the event’s 30th consecutive year, are planned for 27, 28 and 29 November, with ticket sales opening on 10 October. The foundation also prepares Oirschot’s smallest house as a place for Sinterklaas to stay, encouraging children to fill its mailbox with letters, drawings and wish lists.

Alongside these seasonal events, the organization welcomes financial contributions to support its work. Through the efforts of its volunteers, Stichting Sint Nicolaas Oirschot helps make local Sinterklaas celebrations an engaging and familiar community tradition.
