## Description

The Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) was established in 1952 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to support its members and students across six southern states: Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Puducherry. With a strong community of over 90,000 members and 300,000 students, SIRC serves as a pivotal knowledge center, offering a robust framework for continuing professional education (CPE).

SIRC provides a diverse array of services, including face-to-face and virtual classes tailored for Chartered Accountancy (CA) students, specialized webinars, and various CPE programs to enhance professional skills. The council also emphasizes collaboration, organizing events like the ICAI MSME Mahotsav and hosting international tours to broaden professional networking. With 46 branches and multiple study circles, SIRC plays a critical role in fostering educational growth and compliance with evolving industry standards, making it an integral part of India’s accounting profession.
