## Description

The Society for Interdisciplinary Studies (SIS), established in 1974, is a premier organization dedicated to the exploration and research of cosmic catastrophes and their implications across multiple disciplines. With a focus on astrophysics, ancient history, geology, and mythology, SIS aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of global catastrophism. The society publishes the academic journal C&C Review, which features scholarly articles contributing to the investigation of modern cosmic events and revised historical timelines. Additionally, SIS organizes conferences and meetings that provide a platform for discussions and seminars led by experts in the field.

Members benefit from access to an extensive library of back issues, a free online news service, and opportunities to participate in engaging forums. Based in the UK, SIS has attracted a diverse international membership that includes both academics and enthusiasts, all united by a shared passion for knowledge and inquiry into the mysteries of our universe. The society encourages contributions from authors and maintains a commitment to rigorous scholarly standards in its publications.
