## Description

School for International Training (SIT) is a private, nonprofit institution of higher education and part of the World Learning family. With six decades of experience, SIT prepares students to become intercultural leaders through experiential education focused on global issues. Its offerings include undergraduate study abroad programs, graduate degrees, and online doctoral programs, supported by a worldwide network of learning centers and field offices. SIT provides more than 90 undergraduate and master’s programs, with opportunities spanning 41 host countries across all seven continents. Programs combine academic study with learning grounded in local and international contexts. Areas represented in its offerings include sustainable development practice, international relations, peace and conflict studies, and TESOL. SIT also operates the SIT Study Abroad and SIT Graduate Institute divisions, and provides information and support related to admissions, student health and safety, and alumni engagement. More than 68,000 students have participated in SIT programs, and the institution connects students and graduates with a global network of professionals through its association with World Learning.
