## Description

Sivusisizwe Africa Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of fatherlessness among adolescent boys and young men in South Africa. Established in June 2022 by a group of concerned single mothers, the initiative arose from extensive research into how the absence of biological fathers impacts youth. The organization's mission focuses on empowering both fatherless boys and their mothers by providing them with supportive resources and interventions tailored to their unique challenges.

Targeting primarily adolescent boys from primary and high schools, Sivusisizwe aims to unlock their potential and foster responsible citizenship. The initiative also focuses on empowering single mothers with culturally sensitive tools and knowledge. With aspirations to reach one million boys and 250,000 mothers by 2027, Sivusisizwe seeks to create a national community network that addresses fatherlessness. Additionally, the organization plans to partner with social fathers to enhance support for these vulnerable youth, ensuring they grow into caring and productive individuals.
