## Description

The Sixteen Thirty Fund is a U.S.-based organization that supports progressive changemakers working to address pressing public challenges. Established in 2009, it helps emerging leaders and public-interest projects increase their impact by providing operational support, allowing teams to focus on their core missions. Its assistance is particularly relevant to new organizations that face procedural, legal, and administrative barriers when getting started. The Fund sponsors projects and distributes grants to frontline organizations across all 50 states; its reported work includes 110 sponsored projects and more than 10,000 grants. Its focus areas include voting access and civic participation, climate action, and efforts to improve social, racial, and economic conditions. Featured grantees include America Votes, which coordinates progressive organizations working on democracy and voting rights; the League of Conservation Voters, which mobilizes communities and advances environmental policy; and Living United for Change in Arizona, which organizes for transformation through civic participation, voter engagement, and advocacy.
