## Description

Skaggs Foundation is a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to improving health and wellness in Stone and Taney counties in Missouri. Through donations, grants, scholarships, and community partnerships, it supports initiatives that strengthen local healthcare and help residents access essential services. The Foundation funds patient assistance programs, supports capital improvement projects at Cox Medical Center Branson, and provides grants to local organizations working to expand care and promote wellness. Its Skaggs Legacy Endowment grantmaking program helps fund projects with lasting community impact.

Education is another central part of the Foundation’s work. It offers scholarships to students pursuing or advancing careers in healthcare, including the Robert Alexander Healthcare Scholarship, which supports the next generation of caregivers.
