## Description

Skeena Knowledge Trust supports the stewardship and conservation of wild salmon and their habitats across the Skeena watershed in British Columbia. Working as a data steward for Skeena salmon, the Trust strengthens knowledge management by helping make reliable, accessible information available to communities, researchers, and decision-makers. Its resources are designed to support informed choices about salmon, habitat, restoration, and watershed planning.

The Skeena Salmon Data Centre provides open-access, curated data and resources on wild Pacific salmon, their habitats, and watershed conditions. The Skeena Maps Portal offers interactive maps and spatial layers, enabling users to explore geographic information, create custom maps, and share them with partners. The Skeena Restoration Project Registry brings together information about past and current restoration projects across the Skeena River watershed, with summaries and detailed reports to support coordination and planning.

Skeena Knowledge Trust also invites people to become Data Guardians, helping sustain the stewardship of open salmon and watershed data so essential information remains protected and accessible.
