## Description

SKI AVIA Praha is a Czech sports association with a skiing tradition dating back to 1949. Established in its current form at the end of 2011, it continues the legacy of the original ski club of TJ AVIA Čakovice, which operated in Pec pod Sněžkou from 1957. The association is based around a strong community spirit and a longstanding commitment to developing young skiers.

Its main activities include coaching, improving members’ skiing skills and supporting participation in competitions. The race team is led by coaches who are former competitors, and the club reports strong results, including high placements among racers from mountain regions. For qualified members, ski instruction is another part of the club’s work.

Training continues beyond winter: members take part in summer camps on mountain and road bikes, finishing with a traditional triathlon in Třeboň. The club also maintains a chalet near Žalý, used for activities throughout the year, and holds group workdays to prepare it for winter.
