# SKI Centrum Dolinky - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `skicentrumdolinky.sk` ## Description Ski Centrum Dolinky is a family-friendly ski resort in Žiar, at the southern foothills of the Western Tatras, about 10 kilometres from Liptovský Mikuláš. Its slopes cater to beginners and intermediate skiers, with two ski lifts serving two runs that together extend 650 metres. One slope has mechanical snowmaking, and the runs are groomed daily. Evening skiing is available on the illuminated slope. The centre offers a ski school led by instructors who are members of its local sports club, as well as a rental service for ski equipment and a ski service beside the car and bus parking area. Visitors can also find a seasonal buffet serving hot and cold food and drinks, and modern public restroom facilities. Two cottages in the resort provide accommodation for up to 20 people. The ski area is approximately 200 metres from the SAD bus stop at the end of Žiar village, making it accessible by public transport as well as by car or coach.
