## Description

The Skiers Trust of Great Britain is the country's oldest and most extensive national snowsports charity for young people. With a focus on enhancing and transforming lives, the trust offers a range of products and services to support the next generation of British competitors and provide life opportunities for young individuals with special educational needs, physical disabilities, or from disadvantaged backgrounds. By promoting snowsports, the trust aims to ignite passion, motivation, and lasting confidence in young individuals. Their Focused Funds and Futures Funds drive their charitable work, allowing them to target support in a targeted and successful manner, while their Foundation Funds have long-lasting and impactful support for young people. The trust operates in a highly efficient and lean manner, with executive trustees and ambassadors conducting all the work. By making donations, individuals can contribute to the trust's invaluable expertise, ensuring that young people receive effective support now and in the future. Established in 1966, the Skiers Trust plays a significant role in the British snowsports community, alongside the National Ski Federation and the Ski Club of Great Britain. Guided by influential figures such as Sir John Hunt, the trust has a rich history in providing opportunities for young people, with a legacy rooted in the first successful Everest expedition in 1953.
