## Description

Danmarks Skiforbund is Denmark’s national ski federation, supporting ski clubs and the development of skiing and snowboarding across the country. It brings together communities for people of all ages and abilities, from first-time participants to experienced athletes. Through its clubs, members can take part in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, telemark, freestyle, freeskiing and snowboarding, with opportunities for recreation, training and competition.

The federation provides resources and guidance for clubs, including information on governance, membership benefits, insurance, safety, funding, events and club administration. It also supports athlete development through age-related training programmes, discipline-specific structures, rules, results and guidance for national teams and competitions. Its work covers alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, roller skiing, freestyle and snowboard.

Danmarks Skiforbund shares news, event information and updates on activities in Denmark and internationally. It also connects visitors with local ski clubs and provides information about ski-related education. The Danish Ski School, an independent organisation established in 1999 through collaboration involving the federation, offers instructor education and courses.
