## Description

SKIF-USA is the official United States branch of the Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation (SKIF), affiliated with SKIF-Japan. Founded in 1977 by Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke, 10th Dan, SKIF has grown into an international karate organization with more than 2 million members in over 100 countries. SKIF-USA is dedicated to developing and expanding the federation’s presence across the United States, while supporting the traditional practice of Shotokan karate.

The organization connects students with affiliated dojos and certified instructors through its nationwide dojo directory. Its website also shares federation news, seminar schedules, event information, and championship results.
