## Description

Voss Skiskyttarlag is a biathlon club based in Voss, Norway, with a tradition of developing athletes that dates back to 1984. The club has helped foster competitors who have won numerous World Championship and Olympic medals, and it aims to carry this legacy forward by building participation and ability across all levels. Each autumn, it runs a biathlon school for anyone who wants to get started. After completing the school, new recruits can join the club’s group training sessions, where beginners and elite athletes train alongside one another. This shared approach supports a welcoming club environment, learning and progress. Training takes place at Voss Ski and Hiking Centre, which offers a 25-kilometre trail network, including four kilometres of lit trails, as well as a three-kilometre roller-ski track. Voss Skiskyttarlag provides opportunities to learn and practise biathlon through structured training and community activities, inviting participants to take part in sessions that are both social and challenging.
