## Description

Sklad Mitja Čuk is an association based in Trieste that supports children, young people and adults experiencing temporary or lasting physical, mental, family, social, educational or behavioural difficulties. For more than 35 years, it has worked alongside people with disabilities and families facing challenges, with the aim of fostering a more inclusive society in which everyone can live a full and happy life. Its work is shaped by attention to the needs of individuals, families and the wider community. Through its educational and social programmes, the association offers learning support in specific school subjects, extended-day activities in primary schools, foreign-language teaching, and creative and themed workshops. It also welcomes volunteers who wish to share their knowledge and skills through its programmes and events. The Mitja Čuk Educational and Employment Centre supports participation in cultural and sporting activities, outings, and opportunities to build independence and friendships. The association also promotes social connection through activities involving older people and those experiencing loneliness.
