## Description

Stichting Kinderopvang Regio Schagen (SKRS) provides childcare for children from birth through the end of primary school, with the child at the heart of its approach. The organization has served families for 46 years and operates across Schagen, Dirkshorn, Kolhorn and Sint Maarten. Its services include six childcare centres for babies and young children, six preschool care locations, and seven after-school care sites spread across nine locations. Preschool care includes provision for early childhood education, while families can find information about opening hours, daily routines, care policies and costs for each service.

SKRS supports parents through the registration process and offers information packs, personal conversations and tours of its locations. Families can use an online calculator to estimate childcare costs based on their income, preferred location and care days, and can request help with applying for childcare benefit. The SKRS app lets parents view photos and updates, message staff, swap care days and request additional days. The foundation also provides location details, quality information and resources for families and employees.
