## Description

Skydog Sanctuary is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on rescuing wild mustangs and burros in need and providing them with a safe haven. With locations in Malibu, California, and a sprawling 9,000-acre ranch near Bend, Oregon, Skydog is committed to offering these magnificent animals a loving home. The sanctuary prides itself on its transparent operations, regularly updating the public on the health and well-being of the equines in its care. Skydog Sanctuary saves horses from dire situations, including kill pens and auctions, and actively reunites separated wild family groups. The sanctuary is home to over 260 wild horses and 60 rescued burros, providing them with ample space to roam and thrive. Through various initiatives, including volunteering and sponsorship opportunities, Skydog Sanctuary raises awareness about the plight of wild equines and advocates against their slaughter. With expert staff providing round-the-clock care, Skydog Sanctuary exemplifies compassion and dedication to preserving the dignity of wild mustangs and burros.
