## Description

The SkyRunning Series is an exhilarating four-race event that embodies the thrilling essence of European-style skyrunning. Set against the stunning backdrops of South Africa’s mountainous terrains, this series features technical trails, significant vertical ascents, and rapid descents leading back to race villages. Kicking off in Robertson with the Langeberg SkyRace®, the series continues with the inaugural Cape Town SkyRace® starting from Homestead Park, Oranjezicht. Participants are then introduced to the hidden gem of trail running, the Genadendal SkyRace®, before concluding with the picturesque Mont Rochelle SkyRace® in Franschhoek. Held during the winter months, the races offer a unique experience of potentially snowy peaks or challenging stormy weather. Each event is designed to offer short, sharp challenges that connect runners to the authentic mountain trails, creating countless unforgettable moments. The SkyRunning Series provides not just competition, but a celebration of adventure and the outdoors for athletes and enthusiasts alike.
