## Description

Slagwerk is a dynamic platform based in Brussels, established in 2017 by Otis Dehaes, focusing on contemporary experimental music. It serves as an event series and music label, where the boundary between sound and visual art is explored. Slagwerk has hosted numerous events at renowned venues including Beursschouwburg and STUK, showcasing a diverse range of innovative artists such as Amnesia Scanner and Aïsha Devi.

In addition to live performances, Slagwerk operates a music label that features a unique catalogue, encompassing seven albums and around thirty singles, with releases often presented in visually striking formats like high-definition printed USB cards that reflect its strong cyber culture vibe. The platform is committed to supporting emerging artists across various fields, fostering a vibrant creative community. This dedication extends to its affiliations with local creators and international collaborators, leading to a rich archive and graphic identity that speaks to the metamodern aesthetic and the collision of spiritual ambiances with electrifying club sounds.
