## Description

Slap Streams is an online hockey streaming service created by a team of hockey fans with experience in web development and streaming. It presents itself as a way to follow NHL games without a cable or satellite subscription, offering listings for pre-season, regular-season, and playoff matchups, as well as highlights and on-demand games. The site says viewers can watch on computers, smart TVs, tablets, and mobile devices, and advertises high-definition and 4K options, adaptive bitrate playback, multiple stream links, and a choice of commentators. Its schedule pages let visitors select a matchup and use a “Watch Now” option, while on-demand content is accessed through a member area. The site states that no signup is required to view live games and describes its service as free. It also says its streams are hosted on external sites rather than on Slap Streams itself, and disclaims responsibility for their legality. NHL names and marks belong to the league and its member clubs; Slap Streams is not presented as an official NHL service.
