- **Primary alias:** `sleepout.org`

## Description

Sleep Out is a transformative global movement dedicated to ending youth homelessness. Participants are invited to give up their beds for one night, fostering awareness and raising critical funds to support Covenant House, which provides essential services like 24/7 shelter and supportive programs for youth in need. This engaging initiative not only emphasizes solidarity with those experiencing homelessness but also serves to highlight the increasing number of young people without safe places to sleep. By joining or creating a Sleep Out event, whether with family, friends, or colleagues, participants engage in meaningful conversations and share inspiring stories. Sleep Out encourages community building and connection, offering a platform for education and advocacy around homelessness issues. With resources like fundraising ideas and opportunities to learn from experts, Sleep Out equips participants to make a profound impact in their communities. This unique experience nurtures compassion and helps participants understand the realities faced by vulnerable youth, all while working towards a future where everyone has a safe place to rest.
